nothings #5

the ache to move forward, poignant as the urge to look back, wonders if things could have been … different. lines cross and she steps not-so-lightly over them. dressed in rare bizarrity torn on barbed wire she is floating, limbless now, among the bright organza. be-ribboned flesh bleeding breath and humming stars.

she sees only red
in mind

on claws

ohh bless you, Ario! My son has been visiting so there’s been much domestic goddess-ness in operation *gulp … have posted one i wrote in November … the last stanza’s a bit “off” … if you have any ideas how to sort it out then feel free to say!

  3. *Taps foot impatiently*

Can we have another poem, puhleaze? It’s been two weeks and I at least need a fortnightly dose of your writing 🙂

Anyway, hope that your online absence means you’re having a happy time offline.

Thank you so much, Paul … glad that you enjoyed!

Lots of beautiful and carefully crafted prosepoemthingys here. Wonderful attention to detail in the subtle rhythms and movement. Very cool writing.

LOL – you can fawn as much as you wish, dear Ario … what a gorgeous response! Fawns are a delight – muse loves ’em! Alchemy, eh? Wow … thank you …

Your responses are precious, Ario … everso …

er .. does that sound too fawning a reply??

  7. You do have a way of turning every lead word into a gem. It is sheer alchemy.

I hope that doesn’t sound too fawning… It is just one the reasons why I like visiting your place so much 🙂

i’m glad you enjoyed this Paisley … thank you so much for reading and commenting. this is a bundle of contradictions, like me … like all of us, i think. sometimes claws are advisable but it’s hard to know when it’s safe to retract and they can become habitual … though i left it ambiguous about who might be wielding them this time … i was trying to allude to the fusion point of pro/re/action …. something like that anyway!

if her claws are still out… i doubt very seriously things could have been different…… very eloquent wording on here tho….
